    The Archaeological Route

The Sulmtal valley and the entire southern Styria region is rich in archaeological finds. Archaeological Route 1 does not take you to any of these sites, but rather shows you the scenic diversity of the Sulmtal valley. The circular route is particularly suitable for Nordic Walkers, because the moderately steep paths are mostly forest roads or little used access roads.

    St. Martin legend trail

People used to talk about these legends - while peeling corn, making baskets, knitting and spinning, and during wakes. The hiking trail is designed to commemorate the storytellers of St. Martin.

The hiking trail takes you through stunning scenery and significant historical settlement areas.

    Enjoyment Tour

St. Ulrich in Greith is a picturesque village in the tranquil countryside. The great writer Gerhard Roth called it a “silent ocean". The Greither trails follow in the footsteps of his eponymous novel that talks about the places and people in this region.
